The Human Element

As we work to improve and enhance the analytic capacity of individuals and businesses through software and the application of advanced tools and techniques, it’s critical that we not neglect the human element.  As much as programs and strategies make completing tasks easier and   globalization flattens and interconnects our world, there are still (and probably will always be) underground black markets where criminality and illicit activity flourish.

It’s important to remember that no amount of analytic or professional development can or should occur in a vacuum.   I was reminded of this when I heard the story of Susana Trimarco and her quest to find her daughter, a victim of human trafficking.  Susana’s story is powerful and I encourage you to read about it.
